What’s Next?

The last 48 hours have been raw with emotion. We don’t really understand what God is teaching us, we are frustrated, sad, confused, tired, broken hearted and a bit lost. Overall we are trying to find the joy in the small things, we are able to go to Chris’ best friends wedding together, we can enjoy the produce from the garden we planted in the spring but most of all we will be close to friends and family again.

At this point we are thinking of the next steps for us. We will get home, unpack and then begin returning what was given to us by our supporters. After that we will be figuring out where to go and what Chris will do for work. We would appreciate your prayers during this time!

We want to personally thank everyone who stood behind us by financially supporting us and most of all your prayers. Please continue to be praying for our family, that God would make clear our next steps.

We may not be around for a little while. Our emotions are still quite real and we aren’t interested in answering questions. If you are curious as to how we are doing, stay tuned to our blog!

  1. You know you are deeply in our prayers. I am disappointed for you as I know you felt this was God’s will. Take some time to dwell in His Word, Listen to His still small voice, He will lead you I am sure.

If you need a place to hang out you are always welcome here – our doors are always open to our family no matter blood or through our Christ.

    Love You All

  2. For some reason, you are still needed here. He will make it clear to you when the time comes.
For now, console each other, and enjoy your family. God will take care of the rest.

    Much love,
    Chrissy, John, Aidan and Hannah

  3. Thinking and praying for you guys. Hope you can get to the bottom of it and find out what happened. Is there anyway that you may be able to go after all? Praying that things get ironed out so you can. Keep us posted

  4. Praying for you Beckie. May God grant you peace and wisdom during this hard time. Know that even out of confusing and painful situations he makes incredible things happen. Hang in there!

  5. Beckie, I can only imagine the heart break that you must be experiencing and words of comfort would fall flat. Know that you and your family are in my prayers, and in the prayers of many others.

  6. Praying for you Chris and Beckie: Keep the faith. Look up to the Lord. He has something else. I like your friends words of encouragement. You have great support and a wonderful family.Proverbs 3:5-6.
